Amanda Somberg is a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (CA #41275) specializing in sexuality and conflict resolution. She has been affiliated with Planned Parenthood for 15 years and is currently a clinical supervisor for psychology interns throughout the Planned Parenthood Shasta-Diablo region.
Amanda has also been a mediator for 10 years, and is currently a pro bono mediator with Contra Costa County Family Court Services.
Amanda graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with a B.A. in English and from John F. Kennedy University with a M.A. in Clinical Psychology. She also completed a Certificate in Conflict Resolution and Organizational Psychology from John F. Kennedy University.
Amanda created “Passport to Pleasure: A Seminar for Women” about sex, body image, motherhood, and other female-oriented toipcs. She is also the creator of "Passport to Pleasure: A Seminar for Couples" which is a fun and educational seminar designed to improve communication inside and outside the bedroom.
